Too busy
I've been too tied up nowadays as I was given a new portfolio at work. I now am their official asprin of the company. You see, I now head the company's helpdesk where all problems are directed to my team. Yes, we are the lightning rods, hanged out in the open to take customers' fiercest grunts and flogging.
Boy, it's tough to keep these team motivated and morale high. I'm sure I will be feeling the same when everyday for 8 hours a day, you hear nothing but complains and curses from callers. My team look so stressed out by the time their shifts end, so, I think I'll just give them some room to let off all the steam.

Though never worked in a helpdesk, but being in a service based industry can imagine what it is. And yup, its really difficult to keep team members motivated, but its important to have smooth operation.

I agree that smooth operations is required so as to ensure customer satisfaction remains high.
I can help it but I see a high burn-out rate for those on helpdesk.
